As you may have heard, Google is expected to roll out an algorithm update over the next two weeks that will reward sites that are mobile-friendly while penalizing those that are not.

Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.
That date is important, but so is the word in bold.
My dictionary defines ‘significant’ as ‘important; of consequence.’
In plain English: You better pay attention.”
Over the last few months we have been switching over to using the Genesis framework to make our custom themes. These themes are mobile-responsive (have a look at this site on PC, Tablet and phone to see what we mean by responsive). Thus, whichever theme you choose will have your site prepared for Google’s mobile-friendly update.
If you are worried about your site, drop us a line and we can advise you about whether your site may be affected.
